</FONT>
<p>
<P><FONT size=3>清代著名畫家，字恭懋，又字恭壽、菊莊，號癭瓢，又稱東海布衣。福建寧化人。幼家貧，后長期寓居揚州，賣畫為生。初師上官周，學工細人物山水。后變化為粗筆揮寫，以簡馭繁，氣勢雄偉，筆意縱橫，于粗獷中見精煉。他擬定人物, 除歷史故事、神仙佛像之外，多從民間生活取材，常畫勞動民眾的形象。往往只用寥寥數筆，便能形神兼備。寫山水、花鳥、蟲魚等，也無不工妙。為<FONT face="Times New Roman">“</FONT>揚州八怪<FONT face="Times New Roman">”</FONT>之一。他工草書，師法二王，出神入化，有崩岩墜石之奇、鸞舞蛇驚之勢。他善用破毫禿筆，放縱而又嚴謹。其詩亦佳，故有<FONT face="Times New Roman">“</FONT>詩、書、畫<FONT face="Times New Roman">”</FONT>三絕之稱。其代表作有︰<FONT face="Times New Roman">“</FONT>《八仙星聚圖》、《嚙榴戲嬰圖》、《商山四皓圖》、《關山風雪圖》、《滄波釣叟圖》、《東山觴詠圖》、《天硯圖》、《山谷聽琴圖》等。有《蛟湖詩草》。
