Tourists peep the true face of the fairy maiden.
Cloud and rain coil the misty Mountain Wu darken.
Many hills seem to lock the way of their ferry.
Reaching them, they find new peak looking like berry.

翠影凌風知勁節 , 山雲默默賞貞容。

Cold Pines At Moonlight Night【By Charles Wu】
A golden sheen upon hazy mists, the winter moon shines
Whilst midnight chill seeps into the mountain pines.
Tall and silent, they stand with roots subtly entwined
On craggy rocks so ruthlessly outlined.
It is into those noble arms that soft snow fell
And how oft upon their needles so green did the cranes dwell.
Yet like writhing dragons swathed with scales
Their reach towards the sky eternally prevails.
Teasing the wind from chilly world,
Where mountain clouds gently swirled
They remain forever timeless
Regal silhouettes, ever flawless.

Refined scholars write couplets while female members follow.
In poesy websites, they greet warmly and say hello.
Chanting poems to express their thought is a happy thing.
Hatred and melancholy fly far away without wing.
People at leisure should cherish such special gathering.
Like busy bees in spring time, they know why they are working.
All members sing the same song, therefore their friendship deepens.
By means of computer keyboard, they join competitions.

颯颯金風月滿江 , 邀朋夜釣泛輕艭。歡尋魚藪翻蘭槳 ; 靜泊橋邊繫石樁。
絲盡鉤懸紅鯉一 ; 蘆搖荻笑白頭雙。扶周呂尚今何在 , 避世桃源隱異邦。

Fishing In The River At Autumn Night【By Charles Wu】
The moon shines on the river while autumn wind is blowing.
At night, I invite my friends to go fishing and boating.
Rowing our oars, we seek a shoal of fish gladly.
Mooring to pillar of the bridge, we act quietly.
My partner catches a red carp with his fishing bait.
Shaking its head, the reed wonders the old men’s fate.
Is the strategist of Zhou Dynasty still fishing ?
No ! He migrates to the land of peach blossoms sleeping !

熹微曙影津亭過 ; 凄冷晨鐘野寺撞。凜冽隆冬留詠客 , 圍爐白戰看誰降。

Mid-winter【By Charles Wu】
Mountain with no green leaves and river without a boat.
Outside the Gate and my window, the wind is so cold.
At dawn, only snow can be seen in these deadly roads.
Rare passerby ; no bird and around the lake silence floats.
Faint twilight shines at the lonely suburb pavilion.
Bell sound from the chilly temple is the only companion.
Poets stay indoor to chant poems in such weather.
Games are played near the stove and none will surrender.

早霜摧蕾瘦 ; 秋日綻花遲。細葉依莖展 , 淵明獨愛之。

Chrysanthemum【By Charles Wu】
I pick a piece of chrysanthemum at the east hedge.
Pondering, I admire its beauty at the table edge.
Its colour looks so bright with morning dew drop.
The unique fragrance makes the flower at top.
Attacked by the early frost, its buds look so thin.
Its blooming period in autumn does begin.
Along the sparse stem, small leaves grow in alternate manner.
Chinese famous poet, Mr. Tao treated it as lover.

Heavy rain comes in suitable time.
It dances above the sky with rhyme.
Shooting like quick arrows, it startles all sleepers.
Wonderful pearl drops inspire the poem writers.
Cascades run down from mountains with great roaring sound.
It helps lotus buds grow and moves duckweed around.
Farmers are happy as the rain does enrich their soil.
They extol the summer downpour and their songs boil.

雨聚陰陽合 ; 霖豐天地施。擊窗聲欲碎 , 咆哮怒催詩。

Torrential Rain【By Charles Wu】
Torrential rain shakes the thick branches of the tree.
It pours down and sways the blue pool water free.
All green plants in suburb are damped with raindrops.
Wet umbrellas are seen outside the busy shops.
Rainstorm is but a natural phenomenon.
Under certain condition, earth and sky will action.
The downpour beats the window glass furiously.
Such sound urges the poets to write poems swiftly.

胸抱陶唐志 ; 心懷李杜思。貧窮無讀物 , 戲作打油詩。

My Teenager Time【By Charles Wu】
My teenager time is an affair to remember.
An innocent child was severely punished by his father.
I looked so foolish that bad guy cheated me with trick.
Being naughty and stupid, I was beaten with stick.
My dreams to be head of state burst like bubbles.
“Tang” famous poets were my worshipped idols.
Without guide books, I composed doggerels as my game.
Changing a few words, I altered the poems of fame.

Love-sickness Of The Plum And The Moon【By Charles Wu】
Half of the plum tree is in blossom.
She tells the moon that they are victim.
The plum hugs the moon every night.
But, they have to part in each twilight.
Though she gives her fragrant heart to him;
Yet their love affair is getting dim.
When the earth is married to the moon;
Their love-sickness will then be cured soon.
