Sitting calmly in cabin, all are drowsy.
A different passenger has different mood.
One still works hard though very tired and sleepy.
He writes poems as his spiritual food.

Maple tree facing the sun looks vividly red.
Autumn wind shakes its leaves with morning dew embedded.
Chrysanthemum blooms therein and who cares their birth.
It is the temple monk watering such wild earth.

The Tour In Guang-xi [1]【By Charles Wu】
Wu-Zhou was famous for its wine.
People came to enjoy the fine.
The rare species meat so variety,
Pangolin, Turquoise ..... you named it.
You would be surprised by vendor's efficiency.
The merciful feeling stopped you from trying,
But could not resist the aroma floating,
You would definitely end up trying.

Sailing boat on Li River, we enjoyed the good wind blow.
Men with cormorants on bamboo rafts made a night show.
The birds flapped their wings and then dived into the water.
They came up with fish in mouth to please their master.

The River Runs Again【By Charles Wu】
Night rain is so heavy that it makes all streams overflow.
Thank for the river which gives way for them to go.
Rainbow appears when the weather is rainy and sunny.
As such, our leader “Bi-ling” guides us to the peak humbly.
All fragrant flowers bloom fully in this fairyland.
Refined scholars exchange their harangues hand in hand.
They chant rhythmic verses and sonorous articles.
These celestial poems are songs of the angels.

Zhan-jiang City【By Charles Wu】
Amongst the five southern cities, “Zhan-jiang” is the champion.
Various merchant ships berth in its port in companion.
Sugar and chemical industries are in well developments.
The traffics by sea, air and land go smooth to all continents.
Its people are ambitious in ultra the foreigners.
To trade with China becomes a world-wide atmosphere.
The former peasants and textile workers become traders.
Their great leap forward takes off the poverty there.

眾聚蓬萊望海東 , 蜃樓萬丈立虛空。婦疑仙道羅移術 ; 地幻魔庭造化工。
哪叱震驚龍帝殿 ; 猢猻大鬧水晶宮。波光折射騰雲上 , 一理深明百理通。

Mirage【By Charles Wu】
All tourists come to “Peng-lai” watching the eastern sea.
A wonderful lofty mirage in the sky, they see.
Women say the toaist priest puts up this magic arts.
God throws the buildings off the ground playing heaven darts.
Naughty “Nei-chi” disturbs the sea dragons in their place.
“Sun Wu-kong” does mischief in the crystal palace.
Reflection of light makes a queer image in the cloud.
Understanding this theory, they are very proud.

Luxurious houses with green trees appear in the lake
Islands with bridge and mist which only God can make.
A monochromatic bright blue world has been created.
Limpid water from USA or Canada cannot be graded.
Enjoying the Boldt Castle, people pledge to come back.
Chinese tourists hope to seek the retired Fan-li’s track.
In the surface of gaudy waves, the setting sun floats.
It dyes the maple trees on the bank beside the boats.

Looking At The Outskirts [By Charles Wu]
The setting sun shines down on the grey-haired old man
Who looks at the red outskirts as far as he can.
Visitors rush to the south and tour the city.
Trucks queue up at north as the traffic is busy.
Silver bridge with high pillars is fixed by cable.
Flowers with colors like rainbow bloom as usual.
Strolling in the suburbs, he hears cheerful chatting.
Feeling the warm water, he knows spring is coming.

Chinese calligraphy has no boundary.
Friends of Hong Kong gather here to work hardly.
We imitate the works of Wang’s father and son
And follow the rules of the Qin and Tang penmen.
For complicated words, all strokes should go closely.
To form the simple ones, we must write them thickly.
We also study the ancient stone rubbings from tablets.
Exchanging views with the mentor, we achieve our targets.

In his great age, he still rides on the forum horse.

A Timely Rainfall【By Charles Wu】
A timely shower attacks the “Tai-ping” peak
where black clouds break out fiercely indeed.
The warblers in the wood are really startled
while people leave the footpaths like cattle.
At the bank of Central District, they see big wave.
Strong wind rocks the banyan trees in the mid-day.
Due to the rainfall, tourists are gathering
in famous shops of Hong Kong crazily buying.
