明心見性靜中尋 , 忘我研經妙境森。汗漫青峰看鶴舞 ; 逍遙碧水聽魚沉。
霞都煙闕怡情遠 ; 月地雲階得趣深。吐納談禪誠樂事 , 撫琴敲磬洗凡襟。

To Be A Fairy【By Charles Wu】
You can have a clear conscience in absolute quietness.
After reading Buddhism books, your feelings are wondrous.
You become the peak fairy, “Han-man” watching cranes to dance.
At diving fishes, the water fairy “Care-free” will glance.
The cloud city with smoke palace is your final home.
The funny moon with steps leading to heaven, you should roam.
Inhale then exhale after meditation makes you happy.
Playing zither and Buddist music, you will no more be angry.

星稀風高歌微吟 , 秋深蛩鳴求知音。螢飛燐光郊墳林 ; 梟啼聲驚遊人心。
閒乘扁舟追江鱘 ; 遙觀銀盤偎山岑。如斯良辰思潮侵 , 詩成何須花分陰。

To Extol The Autumn【By Charles Wu】
Under a few stars, the high wind sings some wonderful songs.
Autumn insect seeks its spouse and the mating game prolongs.
Illuminating the suburb tombs, fireflies dance in the air.
The crowing sounds of the owls frighten the visitors there.
With a boat, I angle trout to kill my leisure time.
I Look at the far mountain which the silver moon will climb.
My inspiration comes like tidal wave in such a moonlit night.
This poem is written within minutes to describe the sight.

The famous story about “Bao-zheng” spreads from time to time.

At “He-fei”, tourists visit his tomb which is so sublime.

Local beer made from the Honest Spring is not popular.

Most people are greedy and they dare not drink such water.

少林名寺納奇男 , 絕藝高僧眾樂談。弄斧採薪攀古樹 ; 飛身汲水越明潭。
金剛指寫唐經句 ; 羅漢拳開繡佛龕。種菜育苗窺色相 , 蓮池映月把禪參。

Acrobatics Monk【By Charles Wu】
The famous temple of “Shao-lin” fosters talent men.
Smart acrobatics monk is extoled again and again.
He climbs up ancient tree to cut firewood with axe as tool.
He can also fly to draw water from the limpid pool.
With his finger, he writes poem of “Tang” Dynasty.
With his fist, he opens the Buddhist shrine so easy.
Planting vegetables and seedlings, he studies the nature.
Reflection of moon in lotus pond makes his thought clearer.

Buddhist Poem As Birthday Gift【By Charles Wu】
In Southern China, people of letters are numerous.

Within the whole country, gifted poets are also countless.

By websites, they exchange views all over the world daily.

My friend has taken up leader’s responsibility.

Even the cooking monk, “Han-shan” can be patriarch.

Through sinful sea to be a Buddha, use your heart; not ark.

Autumn inspires me to write a poem of Buddhism.

In her birthday, I present it to all in this forum.

料峭似針砭 , 冰風忽入帘。圍爐身始暖 ; 呵氣冷猶添。
郊野成銀海 ; 庭階積白鹽。雪停春已降 , 磨礪鈍耕鐮。

Spring Snow【By Charles Wu】

It’s so cold that people feel as if pierced by needle.

Icy wind carries snow to the window like crystal.

Farmers sit near the fire place to keep themselves warm.

When breathing, they can see air gushing out in smoky form.

The suburb has been changed to be a silver mirror.

Snow accumulates like salt in their front yard corner.

Spring is on its way and snow-flakes will turn to drizzle.

Farming resumes and peasants sharpen their blunt sickle.

當年恩愛倆情添 , 並坐搖船似蜜甜。赤日橫橋虹影落 ; 金波湧岸雪花粘。
黛青山色推舟近 ; 爽籟風聲入耳嚴。朗誦詩詞相對笑 , 風流往事老仍拈。

Go Boating【By Charles Wu】
In our young days, we were affectionate towards each other.
We often rowed a boat and sat intimately as lover.
Bridge shadow under the red sun looked as if our rainbow.
Snow surf welled up the golden bank and seemed to say hello.
Our boat approached the hill rippling black and green color.
Gentle breeze caressed us with pleasant sound like whisper.
Chanting poem to describe the scene, we laughed gaily.
When old, we still mention such romantic event daily.

In websites, talent authors master their poems so easy.
Beginners try their best efforts to write a few slowly.
It is happy to be a writer of low popularity.
When you are honoured as champion, your burden is heavy.
Good verses are so touching that even spirits respect.
Doggerels produce clumsy and ridiculous effect.
I am grateful to those teachers who give me kind guidance.
This poem is posted out here as a sign of reverence.

城樓壘是當年住 ; 柳岸泥從舊徑銜。母鳥殷勤頻往返 , 不嫌黃口甚貪饞。

Swallow【By Charles Wu】
In spring, swallows with gaudy feathers return home again.
They fly to their nests beneath the moss rock in the rain.
Through the pearl curtain, their dancing shadows are often found.
Occasionally, you can hear their sweet twittering sound.
Last year, they built their nests at the eaves of the castle.
They got mud from the bank of willow as usual.
The parents come and go frequently with worms in their mouths.
Hungry baby birds always open their big yellow mouths.

This plant looks like fingers in palm stretching to the east.
It has a sewn up face which is as shameless as a beast.
Its leaves though flat and long try to blind the sunny sky.
Moved by the independent wind, it seems to say goodbye.

讒言誤把歸期設 , 避睹芳容聞泣咽。閨女情酬續命恩 ; 檀郎義解傾心結。
河獅怒吼鹿分奔 ; 慧劍狂揮腸寸裂。春盡羊城難護花 , 東風不捨還須別。

The Past Spring【By Charles Wu】
Misled by slander, I decided to leave her alone.
Refusing her dating, I heard weeping over the phone.
To repay my saving her life, she offered her virgin.
Saying some righteous words, I stopped her foolish action.
Lovers must depart as my female lion looked angry.
With sword of wisdom, the romance was chopped painfully.

Spring passed and who took care of the Guang-zhou flower below.

The east wind was reluctant to leave yet it did once blow.
